HELLO FANDOM! Welcome to Riordan theory! The post series that randomly smashes together random speculation and turns it into an entire post of junk.
So basically if you missed my last two theories on this whole Astral-Planes-Erebos-Reality-Threat theory, here's a recap: Erebos is a astral plane of existence that transfers the soul and the body and seperates them. Whoever could harness that power could manipulate the strings of existence. Then, I said that Nico di Angelo is growing in power and could possibly be a threat to very existence.
Anyways, let's get into it. So, what exactly does "Blood for the Gods" mean? I'll explain. And it's surprisingly.... very related to child birth. We all know half-bloods- demigods. And lots of people think that when two demigods get intimate, they make a so-called "Quarter-blood", which is somewhat plausible. But for the sake of the length of this post, let's call them Quarter-bloods.
Then, when the Quarter-blood finds a partner, let's say another demigod, they might theoretically make a Eighth-Blood, which sounds ridiculous. But what if that demigod gets in a relationship with a nymph? Nymphs are immortal creatures, so they might make a Quarter-Blood another Half-Blood child.
Then, the Half-Blood child of the Quarter-Blood could have a relationship with a half-blood and start the whole process again, BUT, if a Half-Blood goes with a nymph, boy, that's gonna be almost a full-blood- a demigod possibly with the powers close to the gods.
Now, in The Demigod Diaries, Alabaster said that most demigods don't live past twenty. Why though? Well, the average age for a human to get married is 25-30 years old- to me, this seems like a mystery. But I've figured it out- the Gods DON'T want demigods to have any children, because with the sequence I explained above could create beings almost as strong as Gods. And well, when they rebel- things will get spicy.
If these "Near-Gods" start a rebellion, they will have strength in huge numbers, so that is why the Gods are so paranoid and hate demigods. They know, whatever demigod they meet, it's a very likely chance they'll kill him/her- the Gods WILL kill you, unless you are a maiden or vow not to have children. So in conclusion- the Gods are evil. The Gods will kill you. And they're coming. This to me, is a WDE- A world destruction event. If these Near-Gods rebel, it could end the universe as we know it.
BUT HEY, THAT'S JUST A THEORY, A RIORDAN THEORY!!!!
Thanks for reading!
Also, this is my 11th theory! Wow! Thanks for the support on this series <3
