TW: Mentions of mental illness.
I was thinking. Rick Riordan has certainly tried to put a lot of representation in his books (and he did, buuuuuut he didn't always do his research...), anyways, my main question was I was wondering if there is any representation of mental illness? I've always thought it would be great to have some positive role models (especially on things like eating disorders, phobias, ocd, etc., disorders that are heavily stereotyped), but I'm also worried they would be... not so positive. Of course, it's a children's book so it's pretty lowkey in the grand scheme of things, but some writers still manage to fit it in respectfully in a while children can learn about it healthily.
Anyways, thanks for your time!
