Gods and goddesses don’t have DNA right
So how is it possible Thalia and Jason have electrical blue eyes from Zeus or Annabeth have grey eye and blond hair from Athena?
So I’ve always considered myself to be one of those self proclaimed children of Athena and a member of cabin 6 but now I’m finding out that all of them have blonde hair and blue eyes. What is the reason behind that?? I know her children are born of thought so was she just always thinking of blondes?? And should I retake the test?
"It’s quite a faithful adaptation"
-Chris Columbus in a pjo movie interview
"The good thing about the SoM is that it follows the book"
-Logan Lerman on Pjo movie
"I think the essence of the book is in the films."

THEY ALL THINK THE BOOK IS LIKE THE MOVIE! SAVE MEEEEE!!!!!
Brie Larson was almost Annabeth Chase in the movie
Let that sink in.
WE ALMOST HAD A BLONDE, BUTT KICKING WARRIOR BUT WE GOT A SEXIST IDIOT WHO TRIPS ON ROCKS AND SCREAMS*.
Let that sink in.
When you do, you'll go take you're weapon and-
Ima gonna stop before I get reported.
*talking about the character, not the actress
Think about it. Annabeth's fatal flaw is pride, and she fell into Tartarus because she was a little to confident that she defeated Arachne and therefore didn't cut off the spider silk.
Percy's flaw is loyalty and he didn't let go of Annabeth because he didn't want to be separated from Annabeth.
Hi guys! If any of you saw my post called Ship it or RIP it with Nico di Angelo, this is kind of like a sequel, the same idea, except with Percy Jackson. I’ll link the Nico one at the bottom in case you haven’t seen it yet, but here we go.
I believe that Percabeth is the only true Percy Jackson ship. None of the other ones have the same level of chemistry and chance of happening. This alone is just an opinion, but I’m going to show you why it’s a fact.
Let’s start with Perachel. I know plenty of people who ship Percy with Rachel Elizabeth Dare. I think this is one of the least offensive Percy Jackson ships besides Percabeth, but I still believe that this ship never had a chance. They had more chemistry than most fanon ships, but still not a lot. Rachel is also now a maiden priestess, so she can’t exactly go around dating people, and even before she took her vows, getting over Percy and supporting his love for Annabeth was a big part of her character arc.
Now, another Percy ship that I see fairly often throughout the fandom. Perlypso. In my opinion, this ship does not have chemistry. Calypso is very much in love with Percy, but he doesn’t love her the way he loves Annabeth. Sure, he thought she was beautiful, but they didn’t have that connection that comes from shared experiences. Then, Percy ended up leaving her island to go back to his friends, particularly Annabeth, whom he is clearly staring to have strong feelings for. Besides, Calypso ends up getting over Percy, realizing that she loves Leo more.
Now, I talked about this ship in the Nico version, but I’ll talk about it again. Percico. This ship just doesn’t have chemistry, and is very one sided. In the books, Percy has only shown interest in females romantically, and Nico ends up getting over Percy and forming a relationship with Will Solace, who clearly loves and cares for him back.
Now, time to talk about Reynercy (if that name is wrong then I apologize). Percy never even considered Reyna as a love interest, and it’s clear that she always liked Jason more. In the Son of Neptune, Percy shut Reyna down, saying that he already had a girlfriend. And Reyna’s act of joining the hunters signifies the fact that she has moved on from all previous crushes and romance.
Okay, let’s discuss another ship, Perver. Yes, you read that right. Percy and Grover. I was lucky (sarcasm) enough to find this ship on the internet. Percy and Grover have been through a lot together, and are clearly very close, but they never show romantic feelings toward each other. Both of them are taken, and neither of them have shown any romantic interest in men. There just isn’t any evidence of this ship in the books.
Another ship that I was shocked by. Some people actually ship Pipercy. Percy is dating Annabeth and Piper was dating Jason most of the time Piper and Percy knew each other. In the Mark of Athena, Piper went as far as saying that Percy looked unimpressive compared to Jason. If she had any feelings for him, that line would not exist.
Now, lets put everything together and prove why Percabeth is the only one that ever had any chance. They have chemistry. They have shared experiences. They BOTH have very strong feelings for each other. The fact that they went through Tartarus together seems like enough evidence by itself, but I’ll keep going. I’ve seen several people saying that Percabeth is toxic, a statement that I very much disagree with. The main reason for this that people have been sharing is the fact that Annabeth judo flipped Percy in New Rome. If my boyfriend had disappeared into thin air, gone off the grid for 7 months, made me worried sick, and then acted like he was perfectly happy with his new friends and new praetorship, I might feel obliged to judo flip him too.
Thanks for reading this post! Hope you enjoyed! If you have any other Percy ships you’d like me to debunk, please put them in the comments. I plan on making more posts like this for different characters, and this post was not meant to offend any people with differing opinions.
P.S. This is the link to the Nico post.
New Zealand mythology ( @Azurean101 posted on this with a list of the gods and it looks amazhang)
Celtic. He's already starting it, but I still put it on here
Polynesian. Same mythology as Moana, but waaaay different cuz Uncle Rick wrote it.
Cherokee. THIS WOULD BE SO COOL!!!!! IT'D HAVE ALL THE NEW CHARACTERS BUT PIPER COULD MAKE A SMALL APPEARANCE TO LEARN ALL OF HER UNCLE TOM'S STORIES ARE TRUE!!!!!
6. The Roman's side of the Second Titan war and Circe's island and stuff and Reyna's past more in detail, all from Reyna's POV.
Comment if you want any more!
(SPOILERS FOR THE BURNING MAZE)
If somebody walked up to me and said "Percabeth or Solangelo" I would say percabeth because I have been shipping them longer, not because I dislike Solangelo, I would even say they're my 2nd or 3rd favorite. What does this have to do with the title you ask? Just wait.
There is a spectrum for best ship here are the categories I have made for a ship to be the "best ship" (disagree as much as you want)
Funny/Enjoyable to read
Sweet and well developed
Realistic enough to believe that it could be real
Percabeth: (2) Some of you might be confused by the number, it is just the number of bullet points it gets. Percabeth is enjoyable to read and they have great history and were well developed. But I highly doubt this could be real, they almost never fight, and I don't think most people get a tatarus bonding experience. I don't mean to throw shade at Percabeth, I really love it, but I just wish it were a real expectation to have a relation ship.
Solangelo (2) Same things as percabeth amazing, love them, (especially in ToN) but it doesn't seem too realistic since they never fight, and seem perfect.
Brason (1) Since this is non cannon it is most likely to get less points than the rest, but I wanted to mention it because I ship Jason more with a Brick than with piper (Jason's death hit me like a brick)
Jasiper/Jasper (1) Jasiper/Jasper all I can give it is that it was the most realistic relationship out of the 7s (Besides Caleo and Frazel) They fought (heck they even broke up!) and they had disagreements but then in the end (until they broke up and he died) they mostly really liked each other.
Frazel (3) Frazel has its problems (age problems) but they seem happy together and it is really sweet. Their relationship seems pretty possible and relatable and sweet. Some of you might say "Hey! They don't fight like percabeth." Well, yeah but seriously, percabeth is in love they don't fight, sometimes you fight. Frazel is sweet, they both never fought, and never will. Percabeth fought a lot. Anyway, I love the Frazel scenes and they seem a pretty stable ship.
Caleo (3) Last but not least, Caleo. Caleo is the most realistic in my opinion, I mean they fight, make up, have their ups and downs like a normal teenage relationship, in the end they have funny, enjoyable moments, and they took time as most of the Pjo ships do.
These are my opinion, I am not hating on your ships, ship what you wanna ship:
Most Realistic: Caleo
