I think that the reason that children of Demeter don’t attract much monsters is maybe because the environment shields their scents as a way to protect them from monster just a theory
So, I was reading The Lightning Thief the other day and something Annabeth said caught my attention:
"So I'm stuck here," I said. "That's it? For the rest of my life?" "It depends," Annabeth said. "Some campers only stay the summer. If you're a child of Aphrodite or Demeter, you're probably not a real powerful force. The monsters might ignore you, so you can get by with a few months of summer training and live in the mortal world the rest of the year. But for some of us, it's too dangerous to leave. We're year-rounders. In the mortal world, we attract monsters. They sense us. They come to challenge us. Most of the time, they'll ignore us until we're old enough to cause trouble—about ten or eleven years old, but after that, most demigods either make their way here, or they get killed off. A few manage to survive in the outside world and become famous. Believe me, if I told you the names, you'd know them. Some don't even realize they're demigods. But very, very few are like that." -Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, The Lightning Thief.
What hits me here is what she said about Demeter's kids not having a powerful force, which, in turn, makes most monsters to ignore them. In other terms, Demeter's kids don't have the powerful smell like Percy does which makes monsters attracted to them. But...why? Demeter is one of the daughters of Kronos and one of the six oldest gods. Shouldn't that make her children have a more powerful smell to monsters? I can get them not having as strong a scent as Zeus', Poseidon's, and Hades' children, but they should at least have a stronger scent and force.
Maybe it's because children of Demeter aren't that powerful (even though Meg McCaffrey defeats this concept). Or maybe it's because Demeter's powers are weak (but being an Olympian also defeats this concept). I can't think of an enough reason that would make children of Demeter have a weak force. If you have a reason, or just wish to give an opinion, you can comment if you wish. Thank you, and have a good time on the Riordan Wiki.

I did an ironic things from the RV, so now I'm doing the myths.
Artemis, a virgin goddess with no children, is a goddess of childbirth and midwifery.
Hades is often syncretized with Plutus in domain, even in Greek times. But Plutus is often depicted as the son of Demeter (though sometimes the son of Hades or Tyche) and Demeter is not really a fan of Hades.
Demeter fought against Cronus in the Titanomachy. Ironically, she and her later husband shared domains with Cronus. Cronus was traditionally a Titan of harvest and in Roman myths, the inventor of agriculture. Karmanor, Demeter's husband, was a god or demigod of the harvest. Demeter also was the inventor of agriculture who taught -blank- the craft of farming.
The most powerful Olympian god (Zeus) and goddess (Hera) gave birth to the arguably weakest Olympian (Ares).
Heracles, a mortal, beat death thrice. Once by beating Death himself, another by (according to Homer) piercing Hades with an arrow, and once more by ascending to godhood.
Nerites in mythology had two main stories. Either he had a romantic relationship with Poseidon or Aphrodite. In the story of his relationship with Poseidon, they created Anteros (the god of requited love) from their love. But in the story where he was in a relationship with Aphrodite, the goddess of love, it actually ended rather terribly.
Anyway, that's it.

Today i will be sharing some stuff about my cosplay ideas... @Bluehairbrushninja is cosplaying Persephone and i am now her mother.
Starting off with the dress.
When i thought of demeter i thought of farm-like clothing and what store has farm-ly clothes? TARGET! So i went inside the store because covid can go die in a corner. Anywho i found this dress and it looked farm-ish so i tried it on. IT WAS SO UGLY!
^yes that is the exact dress (thats not me modeling it tho) The dress itself is not ugly but it looked bad on me. I looked more at target.com and found a green dress that i think will look better on me (fingers crossed its in my size at the store)
^again yes that is the exact dress (thats not me modeling it tho) im going to have to go to the store and even see if they have this dress. When I was there the other day they didnt have it sooo i might have to buy it online. My parents will be buying it for me actually because im broke.
Well moving on from that and starting another rant:
WIGS! My hair is brown... demeter has blonde hair. and iM tOo yOunG tO gEt mY hAiR dYed so now i have to go out wig hunting! yay *sarcastic jazz hands* I tried looking on the Party City website but i couldn't find anything. So i went on amazon and found a wig that i liked and had great reviews. The next day I went to go buy it and it was sold out. BUT then i found another wig.
^ yes that is the wig.
So what do you guys/girls/thems/cows think? Do you want a part 2 of me ranting about shoes and headbands? If you want the link to any of the stuff please let me know.
I hope you guys liked the tournament. I might come up with one later.
So, a couple of days ago I thought of something really, really, REALLY weird. Here it goes, so, Persephone is a daughter of Zeus and Demeter, right? Hades and Zeus are brothers. Persephone was forced to marry Hades. So, that makes Persephone Zeus’s daughter AND sister-in-law.
Greek Mythology is confusing...
Only some of them, I'm bored.
Zeus- Pale blue-gray with engraved lightning bolts that shine during a thunderstorm
Poseidon- A relatively boring log cabin, with sun and water bleached planks on the walls.
Hades- Dark yet calm, like a cool summer night. Black marble. Everything around it is dead. The door has suspicious red drips coming from the top. . .
Demeter- Like a farmhouse. Reddish walls and a white roof. Overtaken by vines that grow a variety of fruits and vegetables.
Apollo and Artemis- Matching trees. Apollo's is a nice oak tree, while Artemis' is a birch tree. The doors have bows carved above them.
Iris- relatively new and modern. Fountain spilling mist out front, with a bucket of golden drachmas next to it.
Hermes- Seems quickly built, slightly unstable, but very comfortable.
