Grover Underwood

So, I’ve listened to the Percy Jackson musical a few times, and even though it’s far from the best, I do like it. I believe that if I didn’t love pjo the way I do, I wouldn’t like the musical that much. Not that the music is bad, it’s actually pretty good, I just fell like it’s a musical for Percy Jackson fans, not theater fans. (I could be wrong, that’s just my opinion)

That being said, I still really enjoy listening to it. It makes me feel like I’m in the story, and it always makes me laugh when I think about the characters actually singing…like, in the books…

Are the GUPS still a big thing? Like y’know the Grover Underwood Protection Squad?

I remember a massive argument with the GUPS vs the Percy fans and almost everyone was on Grover’s side.

What's the difference?

He's fine. You may have noticed that I think everyone is fine, well you would be right about that, but, imo jason is the epitome of average. His humour is fine. His personality is semi - relatable. He is a decently well written character. Some people say he is bland boring and has no flaws. Not true, but, he is slightly one dimensional at times. Way too many people dislike him from what I've seen. I don't like him as much as Grover or Nico because they have a better arch, but, I don't hate him whatsoever.

I like Grover (I feel like I like all the characters.) He has a fun subplot, his arch was a bit cliche. Shy to Hero, but he was delivered well. Even though most people say Frank or Piper are more important to the story then Grover, it seemed that Rick had spent more time on his arch then there's. I like his personality and I really like him in "The Burning Maze."
