The gods and Titans were just as bad as the other. They were adulterous, evil, and they abused their power. They disregarded their kids and only cared about themselves.

67: Jason Grace indirectly cursed all ships with sea storms and the terror of the goddess of sea storms, Kympoloeia, in exchange for the defeat of Polybotes.
68: Nico di Angelo is the reason that Percabeth survived Tartarus when he told Bob (Iapetus) that Percy was good and a friend, which led him to help them while they were in Tartarus.
69: Orion, the hunter giant, the bane of the Twin Archers, is the only one of the giants who wasn't defeated (although were canonically defeated) by anyone with a connection to his enemies.
Polybotes was defeated by Percy and Terminus, Alcyoneus was defeated by Frank and Hazel, Enceladus was fought in BOO by Annabeth and Athena, Damasen doesn't count, Porphyrion by Jason and Zeus in BOO, The twins by Jason, Percy, and Bacchus. Mimas was defeated by Piper, Annabeth, and Phobos, the godly child of Ares, who fought Mimas along with Hephaestus originally. Hecate fought Clytius, Periboia by Aphrodite and Piper, Thoon by the Fates, and Hippolytos by Hermes and Hades (only according to the wiki).
However, multiple other giants were blasted by Hephaestus and Leo using the Argo II's weapons and trampled by Frank and Ares, but they weren't named.
If You Could Be Any Of The 12 Olympian Gods, Who Would You Be? I Would Love To Hear Your Answers { Have A Nice Day :) }
Did the romans ever visit Olympus in Manhatten did they know it existed? Because it seems the gods are more distant in their roman form

I put up a this poll: https://riordan.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003511048
And the results say that Poseidon is better than Ares, so instead of explaining what is bad about Poseidon (*cough* what he did to Medusa *cough*), I will explain why Ares is good.
First, everyone is like 'oh he killed so many people through wars' that is wrong because no one blames Zeus when someone gets electrocuted or Poseidon when someone drowns. We should be blaming the person that killed the other, also you don't blame Athena for someone dying in a war.
Second, he might have broken his own brothers heart be having an affair with his wife but... Okay I can't make that sound good.
Third, the main thing is the wars so what else did he do that was 'so wrong'
Ranking of the Gods
Hestia
Demeter
Hephaestus
Hades
Hera
Artemis
Apollo
Athena
Ares
Dionysus
Aphrodite
Poseidon
Zeus
I see a lot of people doing these so I thought I’d do my own- have a good day guys!
🦉📚🫒😡🌊
Zeus
RV Zeus is far better. Still a jerk, but much better
Poseidon
RV, not even a contest.... Myth Poseidon is worse than Myth Zeus
Hades
Ugh. I dislike how Hades was portrayed in the RV, he was sort of a jerk... Myth Hades all the way
Ares
Myth Ares is actually pretty nice, I made a post a while back. RV Ares is just a jerk, so Myth Ares. I hate how he was portrayed in the RV
Apollo
Apollo is a jerk in Mythology, and RV Apollo is way more chill, and Post ToA, he's awesome... so RV Apollo
Hephaestus
Eh... I feel sorry for myth Hephaestus, but RV Hephaestus doesn't really have any faults except he's a grump, which I can't blame him for.... Myth him tried to r**e Athena, so... RV
Hermes
Eh... roughly equal. RV Hermes couldn't help his son Luke due to the whole "gods can't interfere with Fate" thing. Myth Hermes is pretty cool too, and most of the things he even did were mostly Zeus telling him to do it.
Dionysus
Well, RV Dionysus is kind of a jerk, but Myth Dionysus decided to go on a rampage in Asia, and RV Dionysus is less of a drunk... Myth Dionysus was sort of helpful to Midas though. RV Dionysus, ig
Hera
RV Hera, by far.... She's hate able, yeah, but her plans were for the better...
Demeter
Don't really see either in RV or Mythology Lmao
Artemis
I dislike how RV Artemis is portrayed as a sexist... Myth Artemis is way better
Athena
...
Probably RV, Myth Athena was pretty harsh sometimes (she had Troy razed for being pissed off with one dude, like what-)
Aphrodite
Myth Aphrodite is HORRIBLE. She started the entire dam Trojan War....
Hestia
Don't really see her in mythology lol. I won't compare the two... Equal, I guess
So, most of the RV gods are better. However, I think this is only due to the fact they live in modern times, so they adapted, and decided not to murder and r**e people as much
Also, the RV series is meant to be child friendly, unlike Mythology......................
Rick Riordan: Makes Greek Mythology child friendly
Homer, Hesiod, and every other ancient Greek writer: PG-13? Never heard of it!
I apologize for the lack of detail in this post, I made this in rush, since I have other stuff to do rn...
Anyways, thoughts? I dislike how Ares, Artemis, and Hades were shown in the RV.
In this post, I will be explaining whether I think Kronos was truly in the right when he tried to overthrow the gods in Riordanverse. Be prepared, this will probably take awhile.
So... I’ll start with Riordanverse. Kronos according to Rick was very much a villainous deity. In his Greek Gods book, Kronos is described as malicious and crafty. He tortures living creatures by speeding up their life, he manipulates his family, he throws the Cyclops and 100-Handed Ones into Tartarus, he eats his children, he rules the world unjustly, etc. So, with all of that, he’s far from the best among the immortals. But in comparison, he’s not much of any worse than his children. In Riordanverse specifically, the Olympians aren’t truly as morally corrupt as in the myths... But they aren’t perfect. They’re still murderers, they still don’t care for their children, they don’t value human life, etc. But, they are better than Kronos... In the mythology however, it’s a lot less black and white. In the mythology, Kronos, or more accurately Cronus, is much more heroic. He’s the Titan of harvest who rules over part of the Underworld in certain myths. To the Romans, as Saturn, he fills a role much closer to Demeter than an evil dictator. He gets his own holiday, he’s worshipped, and he’s forgiven by Zeus in many myths. Now, in the mythology, where we can roughly say Cronus got better, we can also say the gods got worse. Most of the male gods are r*pists and most female gods are incredibly vain. Zeus himself did the exact same thing as Cronus and “ate” Metis so that he could remain in control. Hera is a vindictive goddess who cares for almost no one. Poseidon is a violent and selfish god. Apollo curses almost everyone who rejects his advances. Dionysus is a destructive god of insanity that goes on a trail of death across Asia. Artemis is a murderer. Ares... well, he’s actually way better than his Riordanverse counterpart. For that matter, so is Artemis. But regardless, this is more about Zeus. Zeus is a manipulator, even more so than Cronus, who abuses his wives and cares only for a very few of his children. He does whatever he wants and when anyone dares to stand up to him, they get beat down into submission. He openly despises humanity, except for the pretty girls and boys he makes his playthings. In many ways, Cronus is much better from a moral standpoint. Even in Riordanverse, you can obviously see his, mostly Luke’s though, reasoning. Another question of mine is why we didn’t see more Roman demigods amongst Kronos/Saturn’s army. I know the real reason is that they hadn’t been introduced yet, but regardless... Many of the Roman demigods would have respected Saturn, and many probably didn’t have many warm feelings for their Olympian parents. Many would still stand with the Olympians, but a lot would have gone to stand with Saturn. I, personally, think that Luke and Kronos were justified, but I don’t think I would join them. Kronos is no better than the gods, especially when it comes to Riordanverse. Off topic, but I find it very ironic how Cronus inspired Father Time. He gets overthrown every year, but then his successor becomes him and must be overthrown. Sounds like Cronus and Zeus to me. But anyway, Kronos wasn’t good, but he wasn’t evil. What do you people think, would you join him? And who do you think was a better ruler, Zeus or Cronus?
Pretty obvious... the title explains everything
Myth Zeus vs RV Zeus
Myth Zeus would win. He is far more powerful. In the myths, Zeus defeated Typhon on his own. In the RV, he couldn't even beat him with the nearly entire Pantheon on his side
Myth Poseidon vs RV Poseidon
I think this one is roughly a tie... Maybe Myth Poseidon since he's angrier and more violent, which would just make him more dangerous.... Though Perhaps RV Poseidon could unbalance Myth Him and Defeat Mythology Poseidon...
Myth Hades vs RV Hades
Myth Hades doesn't have any feats... RV Hades, ig
Myth Apollo vs RV Apollo
This is exciting. Myth Apollo is very powerful and seems to be a master combatant. RV Apollo is very chill, which might give Myth Apollo the advantage. However, RV Apollo is confirmed to be the sun god, so he has sun powers whereas myth Apollo is complicated... I'll say Myth Apollo does have sun powers, since it would be fair to have both parties at peak power. I think Myth Apollo would win though, he seems to be more of a fighting bad*** warrior, whereas RV Apollo is more of a chill poet....
Myth Ares vs RV Ares
Uh........ I think Myth Ares, since RV Ares was beaten by Percy. Yes, RV Ares was hardly trying, but Mythology Ares is like terrifying, and I think no mortal would ever dare face him, without a god by their side (Like Diomedes) other than like Heracles. Idk, Myth Ares just seems like more of a fighter, whereas RV Ares seems more like a bully with no real power (Like Draco Malfoy lol. Imagine RV Ares saying "My Father Zeus will hear about this!" Lmao)
Myth Hermes vs RV Hermes
Well... Idk. Myth Hermes, I guess. He seems to be more cunning and very fast... Neither have much feats...
Myth Hephaestus vs RV Hephaestus
RV, since he has more experience crafting, I would say...
Myth Dionysus vs RV Dionysus
Mythology, since RV Dionysus just seems like a lazy potbelly dude who can't even fight...
Myth Hera vs RV Hera
Idk... Hmmm. Myth Hera fought in the Gigantomachy, though I don't think she did much... Myth Hera, I guess since she was more venerated maybe.... And myth Hera seems crueller and more ruthless, which might lend well in a fight, idk
Myth Athena vs RV Athena
Myth Athena seems to be the better combatant, I would say... RV Athena doesn't seem to like fighting much, and while Myth Athena does prefer good planning over fighting, she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty... she casually beat up Ares in The Iliad, fought in the Gigantomachy, and I think Hesiod says her physical strength was equal to Zeus...
Myth Aphrodite vs RV Aprhodite
*Coughs*
Do these two even know how to fight?
Myth Artemis vs RV Artemis
I don't know... in some versions I think Artemis helped Apollo slay Python (when they were babies) and Myth Artemis seems to be more cunning (her defeating the Aloadae.) So myth Artemis
Myth Demeter vs RV Demeter
Myth Demeter seems crueller, and more of a bad*** in general, plus that golden scythe thing she has in some versions....
Anyways, what do you think
Please note: I will not be including Hestia here, since she has basicially no myths. And for this post, I will consider Hades and "Olympian"

Note: Zeus will not be in this tournament, due to the fact that he could destroy everyone. Hestia will not be in it, due to the fact that there are basically no myths about her. Hades will be in, as well as Hecate, Eros, Heracles, and Helios. All beings are at their peak, you may use all feats from the myths and from the books. They each have 6 hours of prep time.
Contestants:
Hades - 7
Poseidon - 13
Heracles
Eros
Apollo
Hermes - 6
Ares - 1
Hephaestus - 1

Artemis - 8
First-round pairings

Hermes vs Artemis
Helios vs Ares
Poseidon vs Hephaestus
You know what to do!
My vote
Athena, because of her cunning
Hermes, again cunning, and a much vaster power domain
Helios is the Titan of the Sun, Ares is too arrogant and headstrong, and is always beaten by Athena and Artemis
Hephaestus, since he might be able to build a weapon to beat Poseidon. Tough though. I'll see what you think
Edit: Nvm, I think Poseidon would win
Did anyone notice some weird stuff in the Greek mythology part of PJO? This is some of what I noticed:
Hermes was born after Zeus got married to Hera, which we know because Apollo was there. Apollo was born after Zeus's wedding, which we know because that's why Hera cursed Leto in her pregnancy. Yet in Greek Gods, we find out that Hermes existed before the wedding, because when one lady didn't show up for the wedding he turned her into a turtle. Something's not right here.
In Camp Half-Blood Confidential we find out that Chiron trained Perseus and Atalanta at the same time. Atalanta sailed on the Argo before she got married and had kids, so she couldn't have aged much before she went on the Argo. But Hercules was also on the Argo when it sailed. But Hercules was ~3 generations younger than Perseus. Something's not right

SPOILER ALERT FOR THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES!!!!!
What if when Percy gave Luke the dagger, Kronos took control again? I think he would instantly kill Percy, then Annabeth, then Grover. Then he would burn through Luke's mortal body, and assume full power in Titan form. I think he would then use his scythe to destroy the Gods' thrones, weakening them. Meanwhile, in Mount Tam, Koios would be empowered by Kronos's full return (Dionysus said that the titans would all be empowered when Kronos fully returned and that the titans were all weak, compared to what they will be.) I think he would kill Jason, and kill the entire roman legion, and then arrive (teleport to) at Kronos's side. Now, this isn't proven and is just a theory, but I think Kronos's return would bring back Iapetus's memories. I think he would be empowered, and join Kronos. As for Hyperion... idk. Maybe he would burst out of that tree? I think that would happen. Then, the Olympians would arrive, weakened from their thrones being destroyed, and tired from their fight with Typhon, and face Kronos, Iapetus, Hyperion, and Krios. Then, the Titans and their monster army will engage in an epic fight with the Olympians. So it would be a very exhausted Olympian council (+ a Hades who isn't that tired) v.s Four insanely powered, angry, vengeful and full form Titans. Who would win?
