This is a whopper, a commemoration to TOA, which I just reread.
194: In the first three books of The Trials of Apollo, where all three emperors of the Triumvirate Holdings are revealed, Apollo has a run-in with each emperor before finding the Oracle they hold.
195: Triumvirate Holdings and their allies have specific beings they prefer to use to carry out deeds and fight enemies:
Nero prefers to use Germani, ancient mercenary warriors.
Commodus prefers blemmyae, the tribe of chest-headed men.
Caligula prefers the Pandai, the large-eared mercenary tribe.
Medea uses storm spirits, or venti, against her enemies.
Tarquin has his eurynomoi, which also transform his vryokolokai.
Python considers Triumvirate Holdings themselves his middleman to world domination before absorbing their power.
196: Triumvirate Holdings and their allies separately held the five oracles Apollo had to find on his quests:
Nero found and attacked the Grove of Dodona in The Hidden Oracle.
Commodus guarded the Cave of Trophonius in The Dark Prophecy.
Caligula and Medea held the Erythrean Sibyl in The Burning Maze.
Tarquin had the Cumaean Sibyl’s jar in The Tyrant’s Tomb.
Python resided in the Cave of Delphi until The Tower of Nero.
197: Triumvirate Holdings and their allies all had specific connections to Apollo, which became significant when he became mortal:
Nero is a descendant of Apollo.
Commodus and Apollo were lovers when the former was young.
Caligula wanted to be the new sun god, Apollo’s successor.
Medea is the granddaughter of Helios, Apollo’s predecessor.
Tarquin was sold the final three Sibylline books-the other six being burned- by the Cumaean Sybil, one of Apollo’s oracles.
Python is Apollo’s nemesis, who he defeated for control of Delphi.
198: The emperors of Triumvirate Holdings and their allies have separately ruined the lives of young demigod girls:
Nero killed Meg’s father and gaslighted her while acting as her stepfather, also holding his alter-ego as the Beast over her, also treating his other eleven demigod girls and boys similarly.
Commodus captured Georgina after she was driven insane by the Cave of Trophonius, also taking the Throne of Mnemosyne, the only cure and extraction of the madness she was suffering.
Caligula ruined Tristan Mclean’s reputation by filing many legal papers against him, working with various people with connections to him until he and Piper only had their house in Oklahoma. He also killed her ex-boyfriend, Jason Grace. He also burned down Aeithales, Meg McCaffrey’s childhood home.
Tarquin’s attack on Camp Jupiter killed many Roman legionnaires, including the parents of the girl Julia, who stays with Terminus at the boundaries of New Rome and is later adopted.
Medea first takes away Coach Hedge when Piper’s introduced and nearly kills her, Leo, and Jason. Then she later works with Caligula to extract Apollo’s essence, an alliance that almost kills her and inadvertently gets her ex-boyfriend killed, shaking her severely.
Python regaining the Oracle of Delphi affects Rachel’s prophetic abilities as Apollo’s Pythia and the monster even begins to speak prophecies through her, warping fate through prophecy.
