Like Heroes of Olympus’s last three books are all on massive quest that spans over three books, full of epic moments with our heroes fighting monsters and stuff. At the same time, there is a massive war between two factions going on, and the heroes of the quest get split up at the end of the first of the three books, with two of the heroes going on a separate solo quest that is pivotal to the quest as a whole, while the others of the party fight there way and do the best they can to help them, before finally being reunited. Star Wars isn’t as big, mostly I’m reading Tower of Nero, which is the one that gives me the most Star Wars vibes, like how they find the plans to the big super weapon that can cause apocalyptic damage, and then make their way to the throne room to confront the main bad guy of the whole series, and then things go sideways. I haven’t finished the book yet, but so far it just makes me think of those other series. I’m not saying that they’re carbon copies or were even purposefully structured this way, but they just remind me of those series and I like it.
