I got that from a website with a bunch of PJO quotes. Ended up being something Ares said, on second check, I think Percy has a similar one on families though.

The original reply that started this said "Percy could kill Annabeth with a hurricane", so I took this as Annabeth actually fighting Percy with a hurricane around him. We both agree that he wins in that case.

That's all that would have happened. He would have been injured. And note that he was anyway and has taken much more physical force than something falling on him, so while it would have been a turn if a column fell on him, he wouldn't have lost, so Jason didn't do even nearly as much as Nico. Since the graze had no effect and Nico tanks an arrow anyway, the only thing he gets credit for is the column, which I'll give. So he did about 25% to me since Nico took what he was trying to protect anyway and finished Cupid.

Depending on the weight of the column, it could have trapped Nico under it, but that's not certain.

Considering the column and the arrow, I'd say closer to 40%, but I agree Nico did the majority. I just think he might not had been able to accomplish that had Jason not defended him.

Where does it say he had precognition, wasn't he just reading his moves like any good and experienced warrior? Also, Nico was fighting a god he couldn't see, and not only did this limit his attacks, but it also opened him up to them, although his skeletons did easily get around that. So it's like having to squint to see your enemy.

Maybe precog is the wrong word, but Ares was predicting all of Percy's attacks and "seemed to know exactly what I was going to do the moment before I did it".

Cupid was invincible but Nico didn't really have to worry about that except when trying to dodge his attacks. Otherwise, the skeletons could sense/see him on their own.

But I believe Percy being less injured than Ares is very impressive, although that single strike does irritate me since people say he beat Ares because of that. But I will end it with this:

Percy's was more impressive but more of a struggle for him than it was for Nico. However, he was facing a more powerful god who was reading his attacks, although Ares was definitely toying more with Percy than Cupid for Nico.

Nico's win was more absolute and while he had to do less work, he, unlike Percy, defeated Cupid, who couldn't be seen and had much more range, not to mention that he hit him with an attack and was toying less, more jeering and amused, although Cupid was less powerful and reactive to Nico's attacks.

I mainly agree with this.

Nico's was worse. The arrow hurt him as shown by his reaction, but it doesn't leave any visible lasting effects. Percy simply took a kick, a powerful one, yes, but then he landed in soft sand, leaving no last effects either while Nico was physically pierced.

The arrow didn't leave any effects because it literally disappeared. Also, I think a kick straight to the chest from Ares is more powerful than one of Cupid's arrows, but they're both unquantifiable so it's up to opinion.

Are you saying he can see any water on her? He can see the water break against her and if he's looking well enough he could figure out where she is, but she'd think the same and quickly move, meaning he can't capitalize fast enough even if he notices her with the hurricanes water, also, she wouldn't even be close enough.

He'd be able to see the water stop moving as it hits Annabeth's body. He can move with the hurricane, it's not like he's immobile. And I'm talking about if Annabeth had to actually go against Percy with a hurricane.

 Nico completely soloed the second half and defeated Cupid, which is the entire point and why I say he defeated a god as well since Cupid showed more effort and struggle with them than the sword. Also, grazing someone is almost no damage at all and I think that while he didn't harm him with the pin and skeletons that can be considered more than a graze. Also, he did take an arrow and brushed it off, another would be nothing since 0 x 3 still equals 0. The column, fine, but we don't even know if Nico wouldn't have reacted to it, just that Jason reacted first, especially since despite him saying the column would crush him flat, he pulled him out of the way as the gust blew, meaning the column hadn't even fallen when Jason yanked Nico, so he didn't save him, just put him out of the way before the dangerous object fell.

Maybe he could have, but it just shows how Jason was the main defensive force throughout the first half. The way it was phrased, I think Nico would have been injured had Jason not did what he did.

Nico's win was way more absolute. He successfully and more easily subdued a god with a single ability. Percy got constantly deflected and parried, then manages to land a single strike. Nico got hit once and then used his powers to pin Cupid while Percy used his powers as a distraction. Percy's was somewhat impressive, but he didn't beat or even match Ares, Nico beat Cupid with only minor defensive help from Jason.

Percy was also facing an opponent with precognition, which is the whole point of why he couldn't land a hit until he used his powers to distract. It's also worth noting Percy came out his fight less injured than Ares was. Even if Nico's fight was more absolute, I think the circumstances (he's fighting an Olympian in his first book, compared to Nico fighting a minor god while already quite experienced) make Percy's fight more impressive imo.

It's not necessarily in relation to him being neurodivergent.

I think I can relate to some of Percy's quotes about school and deadlines, though no character in the verse is that relatable for me.

Add on all of her other feats, and she's definitely superhuman.

She wouldn't be open, however. He can't land attacks while she's invisible and can dodge or deflect physical ones. Still good, but without the boost, it isn't strong enough to kill Annabeth, but it would blow her back, although Percy can't land hits on her since she's invisible and lasts minutes and with the boost, the team is drained, so...

The hurricane splashes water everywhere, and so will his waves. The water will stick to her clothing and could help him see her. Not to mention, if his hurricane is strong enough to deflect thrown javelins and force back titans, Annabeth's cap isn't staying on her head for long.

Nico got shot with an arrow and tanked it while Percy got kicked into a sand dune and would have broken his back if he landed on a solid surface.

So, a magical arrow that leaves no blood and no wound or a kick. Unless the two attacks were equal, Nico tanking his better doesn't mean much.

Jason's strike had almost no effect at all, Cupid seemed merely amused he landed a hit, so I don't really see your point. Also, Nico tanked a single arrow anyway, another hit between his feet, and a single one was deflected by Jason. So all Jason did is graze Cupid and block an arrow. Nico tanked an arrow and summoned skeletons to pin the god down. While he got minor help, it made little difference and his win was more absolute.

It made him grunt, so it hurt a little. And Jason also protected Nico throughout the fight.

Jason did the most damage while also protecting Nico throughout the first half of the fight. Otherwise, he would've been injured by either a column or another arrow.

So? Nico made a god struggle almost easily after brushing off one of their attacks. His win is way more solid than Percy's. Striking someone once pales in comparison to directly holding them down, which is why that is commonly used as a winner method in mortal combat, more of an absolute win. Not to mention his seemed easier while Percy distracted him after struggling to finally land a single strike.

Considering Percy was fighting a way stronger opponent who could basically see his attacks before they happened, I think landing a hit on Ares is more impressive than Nico's skeletons holding down Cupid.
