Hello! i have been interested in poetry lately and thought it would be fun to bring it to this fandom. The challenge is to write a poem about a Greek god featured in the Percy Jackson universe. The poem doesn’t have to rhyme. It can be any type of poem. A haiku, limerick, free verse, whatever you want. I will announce 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in a separate post. here are some further rules:
Rule 1: No plagiarism
I feel like I shouldn’t have to say this but NO STEALING OTHER PEOPLE’S IDEAS. Stealing an already existing piece of literature will result in a disqualification. I know it’s easy to just copy and paste an already existing poem, but please. It’s not worth it, you’re gonna get caught eventually.
Rule 2: Specify
Specify which god your poem is about in the title of your poem. Roman gods are not allowed, only Greek gods. Minor gods are allowed, but demigods aren’t. The Greek god you pick has to have appeared in the Percy Jackson universe.
Rule 3: Have fun!
Have fun! Don’t get too caught up in trying to beat other people. Just enjoy making your poem and sharing it.
Reply with your poem on this post. DO NOT reply with any other comments or questions on this post, only comment your poem. If you have any questions please message me on my message wall, not on this post. The competition will close on Friday at 2:00 PM. If you submit your poem after that deadline, it will not count. Have fun!!!
