Abdel is present at the Al-Abbas' apartment when he, his son and the Al-Abbas’ learn that Sam is a Demigod child of Loki and Loki has arranged a wedding between her and Thrym, this is seen in Valkyrie Vision. By the end of the week, he and the Al-Abbas' forget about the events at the start of the week.

After Ramadan, his family and the Al-Abbas' meet at the end of of the holiday for a shared meal.
