Aemillia is a demigod and adoptive child of Nero.
History[]
Aemillia was born to an unknown god and an unnamed mortal. At one point, she was taken under the wing of Nero and train to join the forces of Triumvirate Holdings.

As Luguselwa is carried into the throne room on a stretcher, Nero addresses his adoptive children to be ready to burn New York City in forty eight hours if Apollo and Meg McCaffrey do not turn themselves in. Nero tasks her with sending out invitations and ordering cake. She is present when Meg and Apollo surrender.
Later during the battle at Nero's Tower, Aemillia and 6 of her siblings are seen holding torches near the pots of dryads who are commanded to kill Apollo. She later joins her siblings in attacking Meg and eventually loses her sword to her.
At the end of the book, Aemillia and her siblings are seen gardening with Meg.
Etymology[]
- Aemillia is a variation of the ancient Roman name Aemilia. Aemilia is the feminine form of the ancient Roman family name Aemilius, which was derived from Latin word aemulus, meaning "rival". The modern form of this name in English is 'Emily'.
