Agave is a Dryad sent by Grover Underwood to explore the Labyrinth along with Money Maker.
The Trials of Apollo[]
The Burning Maze[]
Agave and Money Maker are found outside the Burning Maze by Apollo, Meg McCaffrey and Grover Underwood. Agave tells them that they were ambushed by a wall of flames and were left burned. Grover takes them back to Aeithales and heals her, but Money Maker doesn't make it. Later, when Apollo and Meg return from the Burning Maze, Apollo sees Agave sitting at the pool, mourning the loss of Money Maker. She later suggests that they hand over Apollo to Caligula, to get him to shut down the Maze so that the land won't burn anymore.
Appearance[]
Agave was an enormous nature spirit, worthy of her plant. She is at least seven feet tall, with blue-grey skin, long limbs and serrated hair. Around her neck, her wrists and her ankles, she wore spiked bands. The left side of her face was a mass of charred tissue and glistening sap and her left arm was nothing but a desiccated brown curl, this was a result of Medea's attack.
