Alvin works Tristan's corner during his first boxing match and hides his disappointment when his son loses. When his son leaves Chicago to spend a month in Alabama with his parents the following morning, he says goodbye.

Tristan Strong Keeps Punching[]

A month after his son returns home, he tells Tristan not to be late as he heads to school.

Appearance[]

Alvin is a tall African American man with a dark complexion and a strong jawline like his father, as well as a balding Afro.

Trivia[]

He and his father are boxers.
He works with impoverished children.
