Alviss is a dwarf who was promised Thor’s daughter Thurd in marriage.
History
He was promised the hand of Thurd in marriage. However her father, Thor, pulled out and petrified him.

He is freed from his petrification and plans to kill Thor, he plans to swing down from a on a rope and bash Thor with a club. However just as he goes in for the kill, he is petrified by Blitzen with a portabe tanning bed. His rope then snaps as he swings and he flys off into a river.
