Andromeda was a princess of Ethiopia who was saved by Perseus from a sea monster. She then became his wife.

When her mother, Queen Cassiopeia, boasted of her beauty being greater than the naiads, Poseidon sent a sea monster to the city to terrorize the people. To stop the attacks, the king and queen were forced to sacrifice their daughter to the sea monster. However, she was saved by Perseus who killed the monster with a diamond sword.
After being saved, she agreed to go with Perseus to Seriphos to save his mother from marrying Polydectes. However, Phineus, who was engaged to her before the monster attacks, became enraged and gathered his companions to take back his fiancée. However, they were all petrified and she left with the son of Zeus.
When they reach Seriohos and Perseus petrified the king and nobles, she goes with him to his grandfather’s kingdom of Argus and, learning Acrisius fled when he learned his grandson was coming, the two became the city’s king and queen and had seven sons namely: Perses, Alcaeus, Heleus, Mestor, Sthenelus, Electryon and Cynurus and two daughters namely: Gorgophone and Autochthe.

Princess Andromeda was a supremely beautiful and gorgeous princess with long flowing, lush curly black hair and sparkling emerald green eyes. Her skin was extremely flawless, clear, fair and shiny.
