Augustus is a fellow satyr friend of Ferdinand Underwood, and is well-acquainted with his nephew, Grover. At some point that is not mentioned clearly, he was trapped in the Lotus Hotel and Casino, where he found a virtual reality game and was convinced this was how he could finally find Pan.
