Battle Practice is where Einherjar fight for the death in the courtyard of the Hotel Valhalla in preparation for Ragnarök.
Description[]
Einherjar use their daily battle practice to hone their skills for Ragnarok. Participants typically use traditional weapons and armor, however some use nerf bats and cover themselves in body paint.
Daily Themes[]
Everyday on the week has a different type of battle practice, however only three are known:
- Tuesday: Free-for-all combat.
- Wednesday: Siege warfare.
- Thursday: Fight against dragons.

The Sword of Summer[]
During Magnus Chase‘s first battle practice, he watches his hall mates die and disarms other einherjar with Alf Seidr before taking an axe to the face and dying himself.
The Hammer of Thor[]
During Alex Fierro’s first battle practice, the child of Loki and the other residents of floor nineteen fight Lindworms. When Magnus receives a message from Loki about a wedding, Alex decapitates the son of Frey to save his left.
