Bellesakinesis is the ability to control beauty. Aphrodite, the Charites, and Aphrodite's children can use this ability on themselves and others. The word 'Bellesakinesis' may be derived from ‘Belle’, meaning ‘beautiful’ in French.
Description[]
User can control and manipulate all the aspects of beauty, in themselves, other people, animals and creatures, whether by increasing, decreasing, causing or otherwise channeling beauty to make other unwilling to harm them. Beauty includes a variety of different forms that ranges from romantic affection ("My wife is beautiful") to admiration ("That dress is gorgeous").
Abilities[]
- Biokinesis - The ability to alter a person's physical body, making them more attractive or removing all beauty from them
- Shapeshifting - Users can alter their appearance at will to appear as they desire.
- Beauty Aura - The user is so attractive, opponents hesitate to attack them.
- Clothing Manipulation - Can alter the clothing of themselves and others, resizing them or change them entirely.
- Permanent Makeup - Causes makeup and alterations of one's appearance to permanently stay on someone's face and body for an undetermined amount of time.
- Infallible Visual Acuity - The ability to see all imperfections in one's appearance, no matter how small.

When Percy meets Aphrodite at the Junkyard of the Gods, he is immediately entranced by her beauty. He sees the Goddess of Beauty's appearance shifts between all the girls he's ever had any romantic feelings or interest in. The Goddess asks him to hold a mirror in order to find a flaw in her make up, one so small he cannot see it.
