Boston is the capital of Massachusetts in the United States. It is the main setting of the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard series.

History & Politics

Boston was first settled in 1630 as a township, with the original name being Trimountaine (after the "three mountains" which occupied the area, only traces of which remain today). It's name was changed to Boston, in honor of Boston, Lincolnshire, England (the renaming being by Puritans).
