Brahma is the Hindu god of Creation.
History
After being born from Vishnu, Brahma spread light across the universe and became the essence of the universe. He created it by imagining an image in his vision, but as he was ignorant the universe was created as an image of this. So he discarded this image and it became night who had children on its own: dark demons. Seeing that the demons were multiplying, Brahma tried again. When he meditated, he created the sun and stars, which used their light to balance the darkness of night. [1]
