The Brooklyn Museum is an art museum located in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The museum holds an art collection consisting of roughly 1.5 million works. Significant areas of the collection include antiquities, specifically their Egyptian antiquities, which date back 3000 years. The museum also has a "Memorial Sculpture Garden" which features salvaged architectural elements formerly located in New York City.
