Byung-Ho (pronounced byuhng-hoh) is a pilot and crew member of the Red Azalea.

Thousand Worlds series

Dragon Pearl

After learning from Min that Captain Hye lost the Red Azalea to Nari, she tells the other crew members to lay low until he come back. He takes Min of world and through gates. After the first one he snaps her out of a trance. He gives her a tour of the ship and has her clean. He wakes Min up when they pass through the second gate and he informs her of raiders attacking the ship. He has her fly while he handles weapons. As the fight breaks out he has her do repairs. When the fighting dies down he congregates Min but they are soon boarded. He gives her his blaster and he takes a plasma rifle. A firefight soon breaks out. They are soon rescued by the Space Forces and taken aboard the Pale Lightning. He is in a stasis pod and is expected to make a full recovery.

Awhile later he is healed enough to be taken out of his stasis pod and brought to the medical bay. He asks about “Bora” and learns he was the sole survivor. He is approached by “Bae Jang”, really Min in disguise, and tells him “Bora” is alive. He tells “Jang” to tell “Bora” she is a good mech and to peruse it in the future if “he” sees “her”.

Personality

Byung-Ho is a caring and courageous man who, while somewhat untrusting at first, comes to put his life on the line for others.
