Caroline Chase

Caroline Chase is the wife of Randolph Chase, the mother of Emma and Aubrey Chase, and the aunt of Annabeth Chase and Magnus Chase.

History[]

Caroline eventually met and married Randolph Chase and had two daughters with him Emma and Aubrey Chase.

However years later she and her daughters died while at sea while Randolph was looking for Sumarbrander.

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard[]

The Sword of Summer[]

After Randolph fails to help Loki get Sumarbrander, the trickster appears before him and produces an image of Caroline, Emma, and Aubrey in order for Randolph to continue working for him.

The Hammer of Thor[]

Caroline appears in a dream of Magnus when she and her daughters accompany Randolph on finding The Sword of Summer in the Massachusetts Bay.

Unfortunately, their yacht was caught in a freak tempest, causing the boat to roll starboard and drowning her and her daughters.

The Ship of the Dead[]

As Magnus Chase, Samirah al-Abbas, and Alex Fierro prepare to infiltrate Naglfar, the son of Frey hears her and her daughter‘s voices coming from an abyss.

Apperance[]

Caroline was an adult woman with long dark brown hair.

Trivia[]

On page 135 of The Hammer of Thor, Riordan makes a typo, having Catherine in place of Caroline.
