Aru Shah and the End of Time[]
Near in the end of the novel in the orchard of Dream Fruit within the Night Bazaar, Hanuman takes Aru Shah and Mini through a archway of chakora feathers to get to their next lesson. According to Hanuman, a feather plucked from a moon bird will glow brightly, but only for a moment. If one were to wait until the feather is shed naturally, it will forever bring them light.

They meet Sohail, who falls in love with Vajra, but does not know the vernacular of moonlight. He takes them to the 'Council', who demand payment in secrets in exchange for their help.
