As Ren reaches for the blade, Jade informs Ren she is the one who gifted shadow magic to her ancestors and Ren struggles with putting the goddess to sleep or learning more about her heritage. In order to get Ren to surrender, Jade then shows her images of her friends in battle and gives her a taste of their current emotional state. Just then, Zyanya emerges from the blade, before vanishing with Jade.
