Chris has a somewhat expanded role in The Sea of Monsters movie. He first appears when the Colchis Bull attacks Camp Half-Blood, sitting in the Dining Pavilion and refusing to get involved in the fight.

Later, Percy, Tyson and Annabeth encounter Chris aboard the Princess Andromeda, much to their surprise. Chris brings them before Luke and the next day, encounters the group trying to escape. After a brief fight, Percy throws Chris overboard.
