Chuck is one of the bronze Angel Statues. He saved Percy, Grover, Thalia, and Zoë from the Skeletons. Most likely the bronze he is made of is Celestial Bronze.

Chuck carries Grover Underwood and Zoë Nightshade and seems to hook up with every woman statue that he sees with Hank while traveling to San Francisco. He says that he and hank can blend in with the pigeons when Zoë tells him to drop them by the Embarcadero Building. When everyone stares at him, he replies asking if statues can't have sense of humor. He then flies to an automaton statue party with Hank.
