Dibé Nitsaa, also known as Mount Hesperus, is a mountain in southern Colorado that marks the northern most point point of Dinétah, the traditional homeland of the Navajo people.

Race to the Sun[]

When the mountain’s guardian, Black Jet Girl, went missing, the mountain’s herald Łizhin went to Sisnaajiní to find help and comes back with Nizhoni Begay. She was found in her hogan paralyzed by the gazes of a pair of young Bináá' yee aghání. Nizhoni saves the guardian and tricks the shapeshifters into stepping into the fire and dying.
