Erik the Red

Erik Thorvladsson, also known as Erik the Red, was a Viking explorer who, upon death, became one of the Thanes.

History[]

After his father was accused of manslaughter when he was ten, he and his family left Norway for Iceland, then after his father was again accused of murder years later the family was sent to Greenland.
