Percy retorts that his mom is the breadwinner while Gabe just gambles at sports all day. When Sally says she and Percy are going to Montauk for the weekend, Gabe reluctantly gives them his car and demands they bring him lunch from di Angelo's on the way back, and reminds them to tell the deli not to skimp on the hot peppers.

Relationships[]
Sally Jackson[]
Gabe's wife. Gabe and Sally don't have a great relationships, they fight often, but Gabe will usually get his way.
Percy Jackson[]
Percy is Gabe's stepson, whom he despises. Gabe tries to boss Percy around and makes fun of him often.
Eddie[]
One of Gabe's poker buddies, also the landlord of the apartment the Jackson's live in.
Trivia[]
- Unlike in the novel and the movie, Gabe appears to be more of a jerk and a creep rather than someone who was physically abusing his family.
- Executive producer Rebecca Riordan stated that his abusive behavior, present in the book, was toned down for the show as its cruelty would be a lot more obvious on screen than on the page, and "this isn't supposed to be a horror show".[1]
- While this version of Gabe shares the fate of his counterparts, his death does not appear to be a deliberate act on Percy and Sally's part as Sally chose to divorce Gabe rather than killing him and Gabe simply found the returned package containing Medusa's Head. However, it's also possible that Percy or Sally had left the package for him to find.
- Due to the difference in Gabe's death, the prophecy is left unresolved with the line about Percy failing to save what matters most in the end possibly coming true in the future instead.[2]
