Not Part of Riordanverse

A Gi Bracelet is a bracelet that allows members of the Gifted Community to perform magic.
Description[]
As witches are only born with a connection to four of the five elements (fire, water, earth, wood, or metal), their gi is made out of their missing element to allow them to perform magic. When a member of the gifted community reaches their first one hundred days of life, they are placed in the Gi Cauldron to find out what element they lack and their gi is made out of that element.
The bracelet is locked away until the witch's thirteenth birthday, where they undergo an initiation into their clan and, if they pass, are allowed to practice magic without adult supervision and enter temples on their own.
Biochip[]
After the Horangi are exiled, they implement a biochip they have been working on that allows the witch to use magic associated with their primary element. The invention was one of the reasons for their excommunication. It is embedded into their wrist and acts in place of a gi.
While a biochip does enable the wielder to use magic without a gi, it does have a drawback. Those with a biochip are unable to create the user's dominant element, rather they can only manipulates the element if it is already present. In addition, biochips are only able to work in the Mortal Realm,
