The Gila River is a river that flows through Southern Arizona and Southwestern New Mexico in the United States of America, and Northern Sorona in Mexico.

Paola Santiago and the River of Tears[]
The River is located near Silver Springs, the hometown of Paola Santiago, who’s mother forbids her to go near due to her fear of La Llorona. When her friend Emma Lockwood goes missing, she and Dante Mata go to the river to investigate. When Emma is found and La Llorona is defeated, Pao and her companions end up in the Gila and swim to shore.
