The Golden Crescent is a city on the west coast of Alke. It is decorated with palaces and jewel encrusted streets with a red sand beach and crystal clear water.
Tristan Strong Trilogy[]
Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky[]
Tristan Strong, Ayanna, Gum Baby, and Chestnutt go to the city to get the Story Box from Nyame. After freeing the sky god and learning it is not there, they set out to Anansi's Palace to find one.
They later return with Thandiwe to have Nyame fix the Story Box, but after he does the Maafa arrives with an army of iron monsters and they fight them off with reinforcements from the Midfolk and African American Gods.
Tristan Strong Destroys the World[]
Tristan returns to the Golden Crescent to speak to the gods about getting help tracking down the Shamble Man. It is later destroyed with the rest of Alke in a storm, but its story is saved by Tristan, who sews it into a quilt in the hopes of rebuilding.
Trivia[]
- The Golden Crescent is also the name of one of Asia's two principal areas of the illegal production of opium.
