Hades' Staff was Hades' personal weapon before the The Sword of Hades was made. It is most likely made of Stygian Iron.

The Demigod Files Percy Jackson and the Sword of Hades[]
When Percy Jackson, Thalia Grace, and Nico di Angelo discuss the sword with Persephone in the Underworld, Nico tells her that Hades usually rides into battle with his staff.
The Last Olympian[]
After Percy bathes in the River Styx, Hades appears riding in a black-and-gold chariot with a small army of Spartoi. Percy defeats the army easily and jumps into Hades' chariot. Hades raises his staff and tries to blast Percy with a dark bolt of energy but Percy deflects the blast with Riptide. It is unknown what happened to it after that, but it is likely that he swapped it for his newly completed sword, as it is not seen during the Battle of Manhattan.
Trivia[]
- In some myths, the staff is described as a two-pronged fork also known as a bident. In others it is tipped with the image of a bird.
- It is unknown if Hades still uses it due to the forging of the Sword of Hades.
