Hermes is a supporting character in Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV series. He is the father of Luke Castellan and the Greek god of roads, travel, gymnasiums, athletes, diplomacy, orators, thieves, commerce, trade, and invention. He is the messenger of the gods and is charged with guiding the souls of the dead to the afterlife.

Season One[]
"We Visit the Garden Gnome Emporium"[]
Hermes is seen delivering the box Percy sent with Medusa's head to Mount Olympus.
"A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers"[]
Ares says that Hermes can help Percy, Annabeth, and Grover get a ride to the Underworld by meeting him at the Lotus Hotel and Casino.
"We Take a Zebra to Vegas"[]
Percy and Annabeth speak to Hermes about getting his help. Hermes refuses to help them at first saying that any time he helps someone go to Underworld it goes wrong. However, after Annabeth steals his car keys, they find a message on Hermes' cab for them giving the demigods instructions, Hermes having detected the theft and decided to help in the end.
"The Prophecy Comes True"[]
Zeus tells Poseidon that Hermes is one of the gods who knows of Kronos' return. Later, it's revealed that Hermes' son Luke is the real Lightning Thief.
Appearance[]
He is a middle-aged man with an athletic figure slim and fit with salt-and-pepper hair, as a jogger, and in his original form has a muscular build, curly black hair, blue eyes, elfish features, and a sly grin.
Abilities[]
As a son of Zeus, Hermes is an extremely powerful god. Due to vast influence and countless domains, Hermes draws on the worship and powers greater then most if not all gods bar the Big Three.
- Teleportation: As the god of travel, Hermes is able to teleport to everywhere he wants, and he can teleport others with him.
- Transgressing Realms: As the messenger of the gods, Hermes can freely go to the realm of any god without an invitation, including the Underworld, as it is his duty to guide newly deceased souls there.
- Time/Space Transcendence: Hermes states explicitly to Annabeth and Percy within the Lotus Casino that he exists outside of Space and Time, and this is "Why he was chosen to deliver the mail."
- Enhanced Speed: As the God of Travel and messengers, Hermes is extremely fast and can travel at supersonic speeds, faster than most other gods, due to his winged shoes.
- Enhanced Thievery: As the God of Thieves, Hermes has a supernatural way of stealing things without others noticing, even other Olympians.
- Clauditiskinesis: As the god of thieves, Hermes can sense the internal structure and mechanisms of any lock he touches, and is always able to make it unlock.
- Lock Intuition: Hermes can instantly identify curses and traps placed on locks, and deactivate them.

- Money Manipulation: Since Hermes is the god of merchants, he can easily manipulate money and the stock market.
- Athletics: As the god of athletics, Hermes has a naturally enhanced athletic ability.
