Harley, creator of the home-beacon
The Home-Beacon is a beacon that assists a person in finding their way home. It was invented by Harley from Hephaestus' Cabin to help Leo Valdez return to Camp Half-Blood.

The beacon was created by Harley from Hephaestus' Cabin to help Leo Valdez find his way back to Camp Half-Blood. Apollo gave Harley advice to help him make the home-beacon after the three-legged race.
Following the attack by the Colossus Neronis, Harley marches around with the beacon. Upon hearing the prophecy that Apollo had received from the Grove of Dodona, Percy realizes that the beacon had worked just before Leo finally arrives with Calypso on Festus. Leo reveals that that they had been lost in the Sea of Monsters before detecting the beacon's signal the day before.
