Winston Chu Versus the Whimsies

As she is going to the movies with her boyfriend and his daughter Cassa, Cassa's friends join them. Afterwards they go out for pizza, with her having a nondairy option, and she cornices her boyfriend to let the kids eat in the car. After the movie, she and her boyfriend lose track of the kids and finds them outside the theater. As her boyfriend drives to Mav's house, she and him hear a bird and Mav says it is his phone. Soon, Cassa expresses her fear that her father would abandon her for Janelle or she would become close to Janelle only for her to leave. When they arrive at Mav's house, she and Mr. Kowalski speak with Mav's mother.
