–Joshua to Herophile, The Burning Maze |
Joshua is the Dryad of a joshua tree that lives in a Cistern near Palm Springs. He is a friend of Grover, Meg, Apollo, and the others who live in Aeithales.
The Trials of Apollo[]
The Burning Maze[]
Joshua, along with the other dryads, were forced to survive a terrible drought. The fires of Helios had forced him and many others to live in their dormant states much more often.
He greets Grover, Meg and Apollo when they arrive at their greenhouse. He is seen at many of the meetings at Aeithales about what to do next. He speaks with the daughter of Demeter about the seeds that will grow into the Meliai, the original dryads. After they free Herophile, he greets Meg with a hug.
The Tyrant's Tomb[]
Apollo mentions Joshua when Don mentions a dryad that Lavinia Asimov is attracted to, embarrassing both the girls.
The Tower of Nero[]
Joshua greets Apollo when the god returns to Aeithales after regaining his godhood.
Appearance[]
Joshua's skin was as brown as tree bark, his olive hair was long and wild, his clothes weathered khaki. He looked like an explorer returning from the outback.
Personality[]

Trivia[]
