He greets Grover, Meg and Apollo when they arrive at their greenhouse. He is seen at many of the meetings at Aeithales about what to do next. He speaks with the daughter of Demeter about the seeds that will grow into the Meliai, the original dryads. After they free Herophile, he greets Meg with a hug.
Joshua appears to be laid back and loves nature, particularly plants since he's a dryad(Though Male Dryads are rare).
Joshua's skin was as brown as tree bark, his olive hair was long and wild, his clothes weathered khaki. He looked like an explorer returning from the outback.
- According to Apollo, male dryads, such as him, are quite rare.
- Used to be associated with Aeithales the greenhouses that were burnt because of Caligula
