Eitri Junior, better known as Junior, is a dwarf and the son of Edna and Eitri Sr.

Junior came into Nabbi's bar and embarrassed Blitzen's father. Magnus defends him and he challenges Blitz to a crafting contest. During the contest, Sam turns into a horsefly and ruins all of Junior's work, causing him to lose the challenge. Though considering Blitzen's work to the judges, it was just barely. Junior originally made a reusable troll-seeking missile (his warm-up) and a goblet that holds as much liquid as possible, but due to Sam they were useless. His third item was thrown into the furnace, so after a rant he doesn't even bother explaining what it originally was. As part of the promise, gives them a new rope to bind Fenris Wolf, earrings for Freya and admits he was wrong about the rope being strong enough to hold the wolf. He tells them that Thor knows where the island is. Upon seeing that Sam's scarf matched the horsefly's wings and the black eye she had from him swatting her, he calls her out as a shapeshifter and chases her and her friends with everyone else out of Nidavellir. After the contest, Junior lost his credibility.

Junior is mentioned when Blitzen told Hearthstone and Magnus that they were "out of their minds" to face the dwarf Andvari.

Junior is mentioned when Odin says the Aesir have hired him to construct stronger binds for Loki, much to Blitzen's outrage.

When Blitzen returns to Nidavellir, Junior chases him down in his rocket powered wheelchair until it goes haywire and crashes. Later he and some of his friends find Blitz by the river and his rival partially petrifies him.
Appearance[]
Junior looks two hundred years old with scraps of gray hair clinging to his liver-spotted head. His beard gives scraggly a bad name. He has malicious brown eyes that look like he is saying I hate that. I hate that. And I really hate that. He doesn't look intimidating but his burly bodyguards do. He uses a gold-plated walker called Granny Shuffler, famous among geriatric products, made by Nurse Bambi, his private assistant.
Personality[]
Junior is an arrogant old man who praises his own work and only acknowledges the work of others if he is forced to. He also has a tendency to hold grudges, as he chased down Blitzen for cheating in the crafting contest months prior.
