The K'iin calendar.

K'iin (pronounced Keen), is a calendar, that is also an Unknown, one of the beings that helped the Mayan gods create the Fifth sun (better known as human existence). It keeps time for the universe, and can be used to look into other universes. It prophesized that a day would come when a Jaguar of Darkness would be born. A powerful being who would become and illuminator of truth, and she would bleed magic. She would be the only chance to save the world from chaos. And if she succeeded she would be known by one name, The Jaguar of Dawn. Talking about Ren Santiago.

When Zane Obispo is warned about the Mayan Gods being captured by Tlaltecuhtli, he sees the calendar and informs his companions what he saw once he learned about it. Zane, Ren, Alana, and Louie find K'iin in the Crystal Caves and when they ask it where the gods are, it demands payment for the question. Ren promises to repay it in the future and Zane alters his fate, which it accepts as payment. It shows them a picture of Venice Beach and tells the godborns the gods are trapped in 1987.
