Kwame Mbalia is an author under Rick Riordan Presents who wrote the Tristan Strong Trilogy focusing on West African and African American mythology.
He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and two daughters and works as a pharmacist. Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky is his debut novel. He is set to head Freedom Fire, an imprint of Disney Publishing focusing on middle grade African American literature. [1]
