Landrush Oil and Gas is a petroleum company, a company that specializes in extracting oil and natural gas. It is known to have controversial business practices and has come under the scrutiny of protesters multiple times in the past.

Mr. Begay, a surveyer for the company, is meeting with his new employer Mr. Charles, who is high up in the company. Mr. Begay is to be relocated to the company’s main office in Tulsa, Oklahoma after his children are finished with the school year.
