Lucius is a demigod who was adopted by Nero. He is assumed to be one of the elder members of the Imperial Household under Nero.

History[]

Lucius was born to an unknown god and a mortal. At one point he was taken under the wing of Nero and trained to be a follower of Triumvirate Holdings.

The Trials of Apollo[]

The Tower of Nero[]

Lucius and ten of his siblings stand at attention as Luguselwa is brought before Nero on a stretcher. The god-emperor addresses the demigods to prepare to burn New York City in forty-eight hours if Apollo and Meg McCaffrey do not turn themselves in. He is tasked with checking on the stores of Greek Fire. He is present when Meg and Apollo turn themselves in.

Later during the battle at Nero's Tower, Lucius and 6 of his siblings are seen holding torches near the pots of dryads who are commanded to kill Apollo. He later joins his siblings in attacking Meg and at one point stabs Apollo with a dagger, though misses his major organs. The mortal god manages to shake him off and he becomes mentally lost when Nero dies.

After Nero's defeat, Lucius and his siblings are seen gardening with Meg in California with much determination.

Etymology[]

  • Lucius is a masculine given name derived from the Latin word lux, meaning "light". This was the most popular praenomen, or given name, in ancient Roman society.
