Nancy Bobofit is a student of Yancy Academy who frequently bullies Percy Jackson and Grover Underwood.

“I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher”[]
During a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Nancy and her friends tease Percy Jackson after he calls out “Mom” when someone said his name. During lunch, she throws a peanut butter sandwich at Grover Underwood. In response, Percy confronts Nancy and inadvertently uses his control over water to pull her into a nearby fountain. Due to the effects of the mist, she accuses Percy of pushing her. Nancy is helped out of the fountain, given a towel, and comforted by a teacher.
Due to the events, Percy is expelled from Yancy Academy after Grover lied and said she truly was pushed in.

Nancy is a slim preteen girl with curly, shoulder-length red hair. She has green eyes and is shorter than both Percy and Grover.

Nancy is described as having a rotten personality. She is a consistent bully and fancies herself the victim when trying to escape punishment.
