The Navajo Nation is a Native American reservation in the Southwestern United States of America.

Race to the Sun[]

After getting their gifts for Spider Woman, Nizhoni Begay, Mac Begay, and Davery Descheny meet at Canyon de Chelly on the Arizona section of the nation before going to the holy person at her home on Spider Rock. They later fly over the Chuska Mountains to fight off the Bináá' yee aghání. After the Battle of Shiprock, Bethany’s mother arrives and invited her family, Davery and Mr. Yazzie to her house for flatbread.

The Navajo Nation is the largest Native American reservation by area in the United States, being larger in area then West Virginia, Hawaii, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, and Rhode Island.
The Hopi reservation is located within the Navajo Nation an an enclave, an area of land surrounded by another area of land on all sides.
