Navdeep is the leader of the group tasked to stop Aru Shah, Mini, Brynne Rao, and Aiden Acharya from entering the Ocean of Milk. He attends the same middle school as Aru and Aiden.

Hira, Navdeep, Sparky, and two others appear to prevent Aru, Mini, Brynne, and Aiden from entering the Ocean of Milk. When Mini calls Lady M a monster, Navdeep orders Hira to transform into her, showing her beauty. He is implied to have a crush on Lady M and calls her his "future wifey." 

Trivia

• Navdeep is in 7th or 8th grade at the same school as Aru and Aiden. Aru mentions seeing him at Augustus Day.
• Aiden and Navdeep were lab partners in Mr.Dietz's honors biology class.
• Aru and Navdeep have homeroom together in Atlanta.
