The Nereid is a minor sea goddess, daughter of Nereus and Doris. She and her sisters are the matrons of both sailors and fishermen.

Season One[]

After Percy fell off the Gateway Arch, Poseidon sent the Nereid to help him. Later, the Nereid met Percy in water again and gave him four pearls and information about his father.^[1]^[2]

Appearance[]

The Nereid is a beautiful woman with long flowing hair, sea-green eyes, and gossamer white dresses that billowed around her in the water.
