The House of Hades[]
The tower first appeared in a dream of Jason Grace. Reyna Ramírez-Arellano and Octavian met here with Rachel Elizabeth Dare and Grover Underwood. Despite Octavian's attempt to start a conflict, Reyna heard Grover and Rachel out for what they had to say. Rachel gave Reyna a note, which stated that Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson were in Tartarus. Although Octavian thought this was a trick, it also stated that Reyna must be the one to deliver the Athena Parthenos. Rachel also revealed Reyna's full name, to show her faith in what Reyna would do. Reyna agreed to carry out what Annabeth had written, but reminded Rachel and Grover that their camp still declared war by attacking New Rome, hence she requested that they leave. As soon as Reyna left, however, Octavian told the rest of the Roman officers that the legion would be changing their plans.
The Trials of Apollo[]

The Tyrant's Tomb[]
When Apollo and Meg McCaffrey receive a prophecy from Tyson and Ella, they realize they must head to the tower in New York City. Apollo also learns that he must face the Beast, his old enemy Python, and free the last oracle.
The Tower of Nero[]
Apollo dreams of Nero in his throne room addressing a group of demigods of his plan to burn New York if he and Meg do not turn themselves in within forty eight hours.
Trivia[]
- The original tower is located in Rome around where the Gardens of Maecenas once stood. However, according the The Hidden Oracle and more trustworthy accounts, Nero was in Antium outside of the empire.
