A Poj Ntxoog (pronounced paw zohng) are what remains of the victims of souls who have been dragged into the Spirit Realm.
Description[]
A poj ntxoog has a lanky figure covering in hair with backwards feet and sunken eyes. They are obsessed with human fashion, as they remember that they were human but not what it was like.
Pahua Moua series[]
Pahua and the Soul Stealer[]
Aftef Matt Moua becomes sick due to a spirit, Pahua Moua goes to the bridge to try to lure it away. However she summons a poj ntxoog instead and is almost killed by it, only surviving thanks to the intervention of Zhong Vang. A group of them ambush Pahua, Zhong, and Miv at Thread and Needle in The Echo. One wants to kill Padua, but another says someone wants her alive. A group of them track down Pahua to the Tree of Souls and fight a group of dragons to get the girl. Once Pahua claims the thunder ax they flee as the room collapses. A lone poj ntxoog is left behind and Pahua and Zhong force it to take them to their encampment to save Miv. When they arrive the girls give it Pahua's hair clip as payment and they are soon surrounded. A fight breaks out and Pahua uses the Thunder Ax.
Abilities[]
- Healing Factor: Poj Ntxoog can heal quickly.
Trivia[]
- They believe eating mortals will make them mortal again.
